Insanely clear and better quality then my $250 baby monitor

Ive set up dozens of wifi cameras and this was by far the easiest. Works great too!

I dont often write reviews for apps but I had to take the time to give this product / app combo a well-deserved 5 stars This is the free app that talks to your Yi home camera. This is a nest dropcam killer. It does what that product combo does but better and for free (no subscription after your purchase of orig product) We use ours in our entry window to keep an eye on packages and comings and goings to our house. Its great. 7 second clips showing whats going on all day in its vision area. You can set vision area. You can set lights to be on or off. It works at night really well. If you do want to save a clip, email it to yourself. Lot to love about this app and all the value it gives. Give it a shot.

Not sure what happened with the latest update but the motion sensor is far too sensitive. I have my cam facing outside and if a blade of grass moves, I get an alert. I have the sensitivity set to low. Its so bad, I have turned off notifications which completely defeats the purpose of the camera. Please fix this!

I have activity alerts on and when I try to open them it takes a long time to load. Several seconds or longer. It may not sound long but if safety and security are a priority I wouldnt recommend this. Especially as a baby monitor. The cam is situated over the doorway to the room with the modem as well as myself and my phone. Im literally next to the modem with my iPhone. Its not my connection or Internet. Its the app/cam.

Great picture quality. Setting up viewing on iPhone was a breeze. Instantly connected to WiFi. Setting up recording on MicroSD card not intuitive. So far so good.

Used to work ok. Now the live cameras take forever to load (30-45 seconds). Worse, saved motion capture clips "fail to load" 75% of the time. Somehow this app went from four stars to complete garbage in just a few weeks. I suspect their servers are misconfigured or overburdened. Ill update my review when (if) they fix these major issues.

Why oh why is there an ad every time you open the app?? I paid for the cameras, silly. Currently my cameras will only load on the app if Im connected to wifi now. Im assuming its an ios 10 bug that needs to be addressed. This renders the cameras unusable as I cant check them 90% of the time that I need to. Please address this bug asap.

I had not expected the camera to talk to me during the installation and firmware update. Pretty easy install. Easy software interface and super easy to use and record from historic video feed...only issue is I cant seem to iMessage video to others; but Ill figure that out eventually.

Yi Home Cameras are super awesome, especially for the price.

Can someone check on the firmware and get it fix with the (-5400 failed connection on outer network). This issue been more than 10days even with the new firmware released few days ago didnt fix that issue!!! Any ETA can provide when it would be fix that would be great!

Love having he peace of mind of being able to see inside my home when away. Easy to install, great quality, and easy to use.

The Yi Home camera and all are awesome! Crushes the Nestcam when you consider the cost difference! Will be buying a few more of these! You can get 4 for the price of 1 Nestcam!

I love everything about this camera from the moment it arrived. One small thing, I wish there was an on-screen button to turn IR vision off/on instead of having to go to settings.

Great product. Crystal clear video and audio. Just as good as Nest and other much more expensive products. Shipped with 32gb SD card in box (even though I ordered it without) which is a bonus! Very satisfied with app experience and features and product quality overall.

Great value for great image quality. I would however like there to be more than just 3 setting for the sensitivity.

It will give you a pop up of motion detected. Once the app is open there is no video in the alerts tab to see what motion activated the alert. You have to scroll through the video to find the event. Was considering switching from dropcam/nest but this is a big issue for me.

This app and cam are VERY impressive. Especially since the cam was only $50 on Amazon. Had it up in about 5mins, very user friendly, firmware update as soon as it was up, playback and easy pic captures, good app

Works great, does what it says.
